BV 3.75 Soft Tie Mono Salmon Spinners
How can we improve on a 3.5 soft tie spinner? By making it a bit bigger, of course. And that is exactly what our BV 3.75 Soft Tie Spinners deliver. By using a Bear Valley style blade, which is somewhat pear-shaped, instead of a traditional Colorado style, which is round, we were able to increase the size without compromising the action of either the spinner or the 360𝆩 flasher. Because it is a bit bigger it is more visible to fish, and therefore more likely to be encountered by them
We tie these up with VMC’s “Tech-Set” hooks, Maxima 40 lb test Foam Green Leader, and premium machined (not cheap molded) beads. The upper hook has an egg loop to help keep bait in position and the hooks are tied in opposite directions to provide maximum hook exposure.

BV 3.75 monofilament spinners have been thoroughly tested and found to perform exceedingly well when trolled behind a 360𝆩 flasher. The result is the soft tie spinner you see here. Not only that, but they are proven to catch salmon. We found the system to hook quickly and hold fast. Salmon struggled to shake the hook even when running toward the angler. We opted not to use a Quick Change clevis as they tend to lose blades when a salmon fights.
